Jacking System can be fitted by a handy man, caravan repair specialist or adequate workshop.

Fitting instructions are supplied with unit.

NOTE: No Hydraulic lines are supplied with jacking system

Operating Fluid

The operating fluid is LIGHT HYDRAULIC OIL (can be topped up with BIKE FORK OIL 5)

Top up tank with jacks folded up to within 2.5cm (1") of the Filler Plug

Operating Instructions

1. Check lay of van and release car brakes, if van is still attached to car.
2. Close Release Valve
3. Select jacks on low side by opening corresponding valves half a turn
4. Pump handle until jack raise van just past level and close valves.
5. Open remaining jack valves and raise van to level - close valves
6. Check valves are all closed. Nip down on finger tight. Avoid damage caused by using force.

TO RELEASE

1. Release all jack valves half a turn.
2. Gently open release valve and springs will return jacks to folded position.
3. Check jacks are fully folded and close all valves

NOTE: If jacks have bedded into ground and do not fold, simply drive van forward slowly.

To avoid bedding in or for soft ground conditions, pieces of hardwood 8" x 3" x 1" placed under jacks allow them to do the job they were designed for.

Feature Benefit
The pump box is coated with Baked Zinc Aluminium on the inside and outside as well as on the four legs. The non-corrosive surface on the outside prevents the paint from peeling. There is no corrosion inside caused by air gap condensation and therefore no damage to the O-Rings by rust particles
Two piece pump handle Allows handle to be removed and stored, it fits easily in the pump box
Pump has a latch down weather proof lid Prevents pump mechanism and valves from being tampered with or vandalised. Reduces dust, corrosion and damage to valves and pump mechanism
All hydraulic cylinders are finely machined Increases O=Ring life and so reduces maintenance
Hydraulic rams are made from high tensile steel Prevents surface rust in corrosive environments when the legs are in the down position
High quality dust seal in ram cap When stabilisers are being raised the seal wipes off surface dust thus protecting
All O-Rings are standard sizes Can be purchased from most hydraulic outlets Australia wide
